Wasson Award Nominations Sought
The
Jesse Wasson Award, named after La Porte City's forefather, is designated to
honor a distinguished citizen who has made important contributions to the
community. The award is presented by the La Porte City Chamber of Commerce
during the annual Festival of Trails Celebration in June. Nomination forms
can be picked up at City Hall, 202

Party in the Park, May 16th
The La Porte City Lions Club is
throwing a Party in the Park on
Friday, may 16th, from 5 - 9:30pm in
the City Park. Dynaflows will
be performing, playing a mix of 60's
& 70's music. the La Porte
City Women's Club will sell snacks
and refreshments, as well as games
and family activities. Bring a
lawn chair and enjoy the evening
with friends and family. |
