2008 Jesse Wasson Award
The Jesse Wasson Award, named after La Porte City's forefather, is designated to honor a distinguished citizen who has made important contributions to the community. The award is presented by the La Porte City Chamber of Commerce during the annual Festival of Trails Celebration in June.

There are three ways to nominate someone for the Jesse Wasson Award:

1) Nominations forms may be picked up at City Hall, 202 Main Street or La Porte City Printing & Design, 313 Main Street. Completed nomination forms can be returned to City Hall or La Porte City Printing & Design.

2) Nomination forms may be downloaded and printed from your computer. Completed nomination forms can be returned to City Hall or La Porte City Printing & Design. To print the nomination form, click HERE.

3) Nominations may be submitted online by completing the form below. When finished, click on the Submit button.

All nominations are due by Saturday, May 31st 2008.
