Local Business Assistance Programs Available
Th
e La Porte City Economic Development Commission is working to promote loan and grant opportunities to local businesses and potential new businesses in the community.  The Economic Development Commission has divided the loan program into two components. The first is a revolving loan program for large projects, including new business acquisitions, business expansions and large remodel projects. The second component is a 5/5/5 program for small projects. Loans of up to $5,000 can be made for up to 5 years at 5% interest. Possible uses for 5/5/5 funds include equipment acquisitions, building repairs, signage and inventory purchases.

For more information on revolving loans or the 5/5/5 program contact Julie Petersen at City Hall 342-3396.
